About the artist
Welcome to my website. My name is Gayatri, I was Born in a small beautiful place in India. Currently living in Burnaby, Canada. With both my parents being artists I was always surrounded with art, surrounded with passion of art and design. I was always encouraged to design and create. It was easy for me to start loving it and making it a constant part of my life. Art is the companion I always have and know it’s not going anywhere. I paint from my heart, Its an outlet to so many expressions and emotions. When it’s hard to put in words there are always colours. When it comes to art I am an explorer, I work with a lot of different mediums, so mixed media has become my favourite. I love to paint portraits, animal, birds and nature in general. Knowingly and unknowingly I always try to convey a sense of connection within my artwork. Connections around us that we cannot see but feel.
